Zoom Vomero 5 Premium - Pale Ivory/White-Light Bone
Originally released in 2010 – the same year UP THERE was founded! – the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 was a bit of a revolution in its day. The Cushlon midsole debuted a split Zoom Air cushioning system that sectioned the forefoot and heel off from one-another. One of the most distinctive features of the model was the TPU cage along the mid-foot and matching heel counter with distinctive diamond pattern ventilation.
This Vomero Premium brings a host of nicer materials compared with the synthetic originals. The colour combo itself is inspired by the burgeoning youth culture of Seoul, Korea. The stand-out feature on this pair however, is no doubt the glow-in-the-dark accents. The iconic TPU cage and heel, along with the outsole – light up with a vibrant blue hue when the lights dip.
