Dunk Low Retro QS (TDE) - Flash/White/Argon Blue

It's fair to say we've seen our fair share of Nike Dunks in the last few years. From pigeons to pandas, Travis Scott and Lebron. It feels like the Dunk has been everywhere and done everything. What you see before your eyes though, is Nike royalty.

This Argon Blue colourway is a re-issue from a range of Japanese-exclusive (co.jp) releases – sneakers credited with kickstarting the first Dunk craze. Given the current madness of the sneaker reselling market, it's hard to convey this in relatable terms, but at one point the Argon Dunk was the most expensive sneaker on the secondary market, and such was the allure.

Decades later it may be hard to grasp, but to those who were there for it the fact you can now buy a pair of Argon Dunks for your kid, at retail, is a mind-blowing proposition.
