Air Max 1 PRM - Anthracite/Honeydew/Black/Kumquat

Nike are no strangers to self-reference, indeed for the past few seasons they've loved nothing more than to grab an iconic colourway from the archives to rework onto a new silhouette.

For these Air Max 1s, we travel back to 2001 in Japan for the famed co.jp release of the Dunk Low Pro B – a precursor to the phenomenon which would be Dunk SB. Nike created a trio of colourways, finished in rich suedes in tongues of Plum, Ceramic and Autumn Green. Collectively they were known as the Ugly Duckling pack.

That's the back story, so what are these? This colourway is directly influenced by the Dunk Low 'Ceramic' – featuring uppers in dark tones accented with Nori green and the namesake Ceramic orange. If you were a little unsure as to whether this story was accurate, the embroidered duck on the heels should be enough to set that straight.
