Air Force 1 Mid '07 LX - Off-Noir/Off-Noir-Black

Nike is never one to shy away from the holiday-themed releases and October is Spooky Season. Although Halloween is a very American celebration, it continues to grow in popularity around Australia – who doesn't like an excuse to get dressed up?

This AF1 Mid is much more subtle than some of the previous Halloween shoes to come from The Swoosh. The uppers are comprised mainly of black and off-noir – which is "sorta-black" – alone. The main spookiness comes from the graphic elements. All of the signature Nike details, like the Swoosh, Air logo and branding are mirrored and distorted in what we could only describe as "ghosted". The typeface and treatments are tweaking a memory but it can't be placed – it seems oddly reminiscent of a particular horror film. These are definitely more versatile than the more traditional Halloween sneaker designs. These seem like you could wear them casually, unlike the others which are rendered useless 364 days in the year.
