Air Force 1 '07 PRM - Team Red/Sail/Gym Red

Amongst Air Force 1 aficionados, there's often a particular Swoosh that's a favourite. For some it's the jewels, maybe it's a particular year of swoosh shape or indeed the famous "Miniswoosh". Asking "Which Swoosh?" Nike replied "Yes" and created this AF1. Taking the "Why not have both?" approach, these feature a total of FOUR different Swooshes: regular; jewel; embossed and embroidered. Whilst they say "less is more" there's also a maximalist opinion of "more is more" – this applies here.

In reality this simple white AF1 is an homage to decades of Nike branding. Speaking to the versatility of the Uptowns silhouette, it shows how many different versions have been created over 40 years. The mashup isn't restricted to just the Swooshes either, with the heel and tongue getting a dose of over-branding. Definitely not a great choice for anyone who's logo-averse.
