U9060BW1 x Bricks & Wood

South Central Los Angeles based label Bricks & Wood teams up with New Balance for a second time, chasing their green 57/40 with a 90/60. Playing off B&W's inspiration of authenticity and community, the U9060BW1 incorporates unique details with a classic colour palette.

An exercise in artistic restraint, Bricks & Wood's choices don't dominate the silhouette. The uppers are built atop a spacer mesh with reflective top layer which lights-up as the light dips. This grey base is overlaid with soft white suede – in both classic and rough-cut hairy variations. Although mostly neutral tones, the sole features a hit of grass green which pops against the uppers. The lining also sports sky blue but that's hidden once on-foot.

The shoe is complimented with custom fuzzy laces, which are sure to be a divisively tactile feature.
