New Balance & Joe Freshgoods return again in 2023 with a new story and new silhouettes. For this latest collaboration the tagline is "Beneath the Surface" – a reference to the inner workings of the mind and hidden aspects of one’s personality.

Taking this relatively abstract concept Joe looks to the world of outdoor and hunting gear, employing his own custom-made camouflage which is printed across the mesh of this New Balance 610. A further hidden detail lies in the suede panels, which are embroidered with a tonal topographical motif. These design touches pair well with the 610's details, which draw from New Balance's long history of making trail-ready footwear.

The chunk outsole is equipped with ABZORB for a smooth ride, whilst the lugged N-durance rubber outsole provides grip and durability. Adding some extra character is the washed finish applied to the midsole.
