New Balance continues to cement its place as the brand dropping the most consistently strong colourways at the moment. Each recent drop features a common thread through colours, materials and/or execution. For this latest range the 990WB3 is paired with the 990WB2.

We've made no attempts to hide our love to the 990v3. It's clear that of all the 99x series models these hold a soft spot in our hearts – we even incorporated details from it into our own Backyard Legends 2002R! Given the constant stream of releases on this model we're going to assume someone at NB is a fan of the ol' v3 as well. This version wears a base of white mesh, with overlays in antique white leather and white nubuck. Accents come in the form of black and royal blue hits.
