New Balance continue to out-do themselves with yet another 1906R to add to the rotation and boy have they hit the mark with this rendition. Looking like the lovechild of a Timberland boot and a GORPcore Instagram account, there's a lot to process.
The uppers are constructed with durable CORDURA® textile for maximum toughness. Almost completely finished in wheat brown, the colour and hiking laces are where the aforementioned Timb's vibe come from, which is enhanced by the gum sole. Each pair does come with a removable ripstop utility pouch that attaches via the laces –much like the ones that came with the highly unobtainable Ultraolive 990v3 from 2019.
