With so many smash-hit colourways the question turned to "what next?". Now, New Balance reveals their hand, with the 2002's older sibling – the 1906 – receiving the same "Refined Future" treatment.

The uppers sit atop the well-known N-Ergy sole which makes the 1906 one of the best modern retro shoes to wear. Each pair comes with pre-distressed details and rough-cut panels – features created by designer Yue Wu to encourage everyone to wear their pairs with no fear. We can’t argue with that logic!
