Welded Mac Coat - Army Green PVC Coating
The Welded Mac is a MHL. interpretation of the classic Mackintosh jacket. Much like calling a permanent marker a "sharpie" or referring to a clothes line as a "hills hoist" the term "Mackintosh" is actually the name of the company that created this style of jacket. All Mac's, regardless of brand, need to be made with rubberised fabric to make them waterproof. Without this function the Mac ceases to be a Mac.
Margaret Howell cuts this MHL. jacket from a rubber coated polyester, keeping the jacket lightweight whilst still retaining the waterproof properties. For extreme weather, a buttoned storm flap provides extra protection. The collar is made with contrasting corduroy, allowing for a more pleasant feeling against your neck compared to the rubber face. Because no jacket is helpful if it doesn't carry anything, there's two large flap pockets on the body to keep your items as dry as you.
