International Flight Club Hoodie × TITAN - Corduroy Brown
Continuing on their International Flight Club tour, this time Jordan Brand has touched down in the Phillipines. A country known for its love of basketball, Nike turned to boutique retailer TITAN to get their take. Having previously worked on modern Jordan silhouettes, this time the two delved into the archives by working on the Air Jordan 2 Low and creating a clothing capsule to match.
TITAN was inspired by the nation's 1954 Basketball World Championship – a squad which miraculously scored a bronze medal in the competition, bringing immense pride to the island nation. In order to truly capture the energy of this time in history, the TITAN team employed the help of Chi Loyzaga-Gibbs – designer, artist, musician and granddaughter of Filipino basketball hero Caloy Loyzaga.
Together the two created a collection that imbues the spirit of the Philippines and that 1954 team, whilst incorporating Chi's own artistic style.
