Andover Jacket - Navy Linen Twill
Compared with the more workwear-inspired blazers, the Andover Jacket from Engineered Garments falls further towards the formal side of things. That's not to say it's the type of thing that you're wearing to a attend a ball, but by EG's standards its definitely a little more serious.
With all that said it's still equipped with a host of pockets – it's still Daisuke after all – but they're all welted with flaps. The single breasted design features a tree-roll-two lapel which adds a nice softness to the silhouette. By using a linen twill fabric, this will age perfectly with time. The natural characteristics of linen allow wrinkles to set in and hold, whilst the wear will bring out a sheen and lustre to the textile. The naturally breathable properties of linen also don't hurt.
Pair it with the matching Andover Pants and you've got yourself a pretty good goin' out setup.
