US3-S GEL-SONOMA 15-50 MT - Evergreen/Anthracite

Another instalment from the capsule collection created by ASICS and the Kiko Kostadinov Studio. This time we see another variation of the GEL-SONOMA 15-50 – a model we've had before albeit in a slightly more conventional execution.

The uppers are taken from the ASICS 15-50 trail running spike. Here they have been extended to a mid-cut – which creates the MT designation – to make them more supportive on long-haul efforts. The sole tooling is borrowed from the early iterations of the GEL-SONOMA trail running model, providing ample cushioning and traction.

Materials are kept simple, with synthetic fabrics commonly seen on other outdoor products forming the lion's share. A few panels of nubuck add a more natural feel without sacrificing any durability. A double-stacked heel counter adds some support whilst also adding a design flair that combines with textured overlays across the upper.

As with any creation from the Kiko Kostadinov Studio, the colour mix is impeccable. For these trail-focussed boots, the inspiration is drawn from scenic views of the outdoors. A fitting point of reference when these are definitely equipped to take you there.
