Gel-Sonoma 15-50 × APC - Lilac Opal/Gentry Purple

Whilst we've seen plenty of ASICS projects coming out of Japan and America, we're excited to see the sportswear giant working with a European collaborator this time around. Working with the Gel-Sonoma 15-50, the Japanese footwear manufacturer has teamed up with French fashion label A.P.C. founded by designer Jean Touitou.

The model itself is a hybrid creation, fusing the uppers from the 15-50 running spike to the sole tooling from the Gel-Sonoma™ trail shoe. The result is a wholly new model with performance heritage and lifestyle credentials.

Putting their own spin on things, A.P.C. created the uppers from a combination of athletic mesh, perforated leather and soft suede overlays. The signature ASICS stripes are finished in a translucent TPU rubber, also mirrored on the co-branded windows on the heel counter. All versions from the trio share a common feature in the blue-green tie-dye coloured webbing accents and shoelaces. A colour theme that is shared across the uppers of this multicoloured pair.
