Air Jordan 5 Retro (TD) - White/Dark Concord-Black

The Air Jordan 5 is a model that often finds itself in any roundup of the greatest Jordans of all time. Many of the early models are held in high regard but even amongst this stellar class the 5 stands ahead of most. It's reflective tongue, the fighter plane inspired "flames" on the midsole, the adjustable lace lock and of course... that icy sole. There's a reason why The Fresh Prince himself rocked Grapes around Bel-Air: the Jordan 5 has presence.

That clear outsole would also feature on the AJ6 before taking a sabbatical, returning with His Airness to the NBA in '95 via the Air Jordan 11 'Concord'. You can see where this is going right? Someone on the Jordan design team must've been stoked when they came up with this idea because it works so damn well. This AJ5 stole some of it's younger bother's style, eschewing the traditional colours for the Concord 11's palette.

The rest of the hallmarks of any good AJ5 remain including the reflective tongue – no icey sole for the kids though. A certified banger proving sometimes you don't have to look too far for the best ideas. Don't forget that this is the TODDLERS size, incase the pics didn't make this obvious...
