There's no denying the impact that the late Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" collaboration with Nike had on the footwear industry. Of that collaboration, the Air Jordan 1 was the most desirable both for the fact it was an artist edition from Jordan but also due to the deconstructed look which was unique for its time. When you look at this in-house creation from the Jordan design team it's hard not to see Abloh's influence.
The uppers are constructed from a foam-backed nylon which has the raw edges left exposed. The result is an incredible expression of both depth and "unfinished" charm. The colourway is pretty standard, nothing too crazy – a good thing given how unusual the fabric finishing is.
