Samba x Wales Bonner - Collegiate Orange/Ecru Tint

It's with a warm heart we once again welcome the phenomenal work of Grace Wales Bonner. Through her ongoing partnership with adidas, Grace creates her beautiful aesthetic through a deeply considered practice. Distinctly drawing from the culture of Burkina Faso in West Africa, this collection continues her research into music and photography from the 1970s and 80s.

Few silhouettes can summarise this time period better than the Samba: a model which Wales Bonner has played with before. Keen eyes will spot key details that carry over, most obvious being the distinctive blanket stitch along the tongue and heel. This season a vintage nylon is overlaid with rich hairy suede, sat atop a light gum sole. The particular pair is finished in an undeniably groovy combination of vibrant rouge with ecru accents.
