Rovermule Adventure - Aluminia/Halo Blush

A variation of the new Roverend Adventure sneaker, the adidas Rovermule Adventure does exactly what you think it does by removing the laces and making for a sturdy slip-on. Where the chunky TPU cage and complex overlays define the Roverend, in mule form the uppers are far more simplified. Stuff rubber is replaced with stretchy nylon and smooth surfaces.

The chunky, exaggerated foam midsole is unchanged however. It's created with adidas' innovative 3D printing technology, whilst the lugged rubber retains a pixelated, 3D-printed look. If the Roverend is a Land Rover Defender – utilitarian looking but ultimately used by inner-city yuppies – the Rovermule is a Land Rover Sport – it looks tough but it's not pretending.
