London - Flash Aqua/Arctic Fusion
This is what a sports sneaker looked like in the '70s – how far we've come. The adidas Dublin is one of the shoes released under the famed City Series which – as the name suggests – saw a range of shoes named after certain cities.
As Australians, it's hard to convey the impact that the City Series had on European kids in particular, but for many there's a particular shoe from the range which they claim as 'theirs'. The series itself is a bit of a mixed bag with some unique models and a lot of colourways on similar silhouettes with sometimes minuscule differences.
The London's snub-nosed original was made in an iconic red with black accents. Obviously these are not the same colour palette, but they do retail the same material and blocking structure of the originals, albeit rendered in tonal shades of aqua.
