Forum 84 Low 'Camp' - Dark Green/Night Cargo

The Forum is likely the most important adidas shoe you've never heard of. The brainchild of French designer Jacques Chassaing. When it launched in 1984, the $100 Forum stole headlines as the most expensive basketball shoe in the world – indeed all that tech didn't come cheap. If that wasn't enough to cement it's status, a young Michael Jordan wore them whilst playing in trials for the '84 Olympics.

Reimagined for 2022, the Forum 84 'Camp' incorporates design elements inspired by the current trend towards outdoor fashion. So how do you GORP-ify a basketball shoe from 38 years ago? According to adidas you chuck on some rip-stop nylon, a few paracord loops and some reflective detailing. The result? Something that's pretty cool actually. There's plenty of fun things you could do with those loops. Maybe some wacky Off-White-Dunk-esque lacing, or – if you're particularly creative – make a waterproof shroud to affix like a tent tarp.
