Knit BD Shirt - Prince of Wales Heavy Jersey
Workwear meets Italian craftsmanship on a heavyweight shirt from 4SDesigns. As with most creations from the brand, whilst the painstaking process of creating the garment can't be be overlooked, it's the fabric white shines brightest. This thick woven jersey gives a heftiness to this shirt that makes for a durable standalone or as a sturdy top layer.
There's no printed patterns here, every pixel is stitched to perfection on the loom. Popularised by the Prince of Wales & nicknamed "Prince of Wales Check" the pattern itself is actually named "Glen Plaid" after the valley of Glenurquhart in Scotland. It was first commissioned by the Countess of Seafield in the 19th century for use by her gamekeepers.
