Outfit Of The Week 12-06-2018 Kapital orSlow New Balance Velva Sheen

Winter isn’t coming, Winter is here! And for Mr. Mannequin that means layering up, and comfort is essential as he looks to a selection of pieces from Kapital, Orslow, Velva Sheen, and New Balance.

In his best efforts to protect from the harsh winter winds, Mr. Mannequin has most notably opted for Kapital’s The Ghandi Ring Coat (smile patch) in his efforts to do so. This hefty coat is constructed from Gold Shetland lambs wool, and provides a stylish yet fun winter option, which perfectly pairs with epitome of comfort that is the Velva Sheen Golden Chief Tee - as seen here in green.

With such a strong statement being made on top, a beautifully simplistic approach was taken to the lower half with the classic stylings of an orSlow 107 Slim Fit Jean - One Wash. Providing a tapered leg for modern stylings, utilising Japanese selvage denim, and finishing the look with their signature white tab, this jean will serve you well all year round. Finally throw on a covert green pair of New Balance M990CG4’s to continue the comfort seeking that has defined the look thus far, and what you have is a perfectly balanced outfit.

Happy Monday everybody! Another week closer to some consistently warm summery weather! My outfits at this time of the year are indicative to what’s going on outside; is it hot, is it cold, wet, dry….who knows!?

I’ve found it best to take away one of your middle winter layers and stick to a light under layer with a good mid weight jacket by your side at all times to keep you warm in the cool spells and dry when it decides to rain after the weather man predicted a perfectly sunny day! From this point on you’ll see me in a Velva Sheen crewneck T-shirt almost everyday! They’re so damn good! My jacket of choice today is the new Kapital Boro collared Ring Coat, pretty sexy jacket huh? It’s made of a mid-weight cotton twill which is a perfect suit for the fluctuating temperatures until Summer kicks in to full effect.

Down below I’ve gone with the Light Canvas Ringoman Cargo Pants from Kapital. Little bit slimmer than I usually go for but still super comfortable with awesome pocket detailing throughout the pant. Complimenting them flawlessly are my amazing B&W Pony Fur McGuffin & Purpose Chukkas. As I’ve said in previous outfits, I always like having at least one stand out item, whether it be the shirt, jacket, or shoes….in this case it’s obviously the shoes! Accessorised with my Tom Wood Onyx Cushion Ring and Bullet Chain I’m a huge fan of this outfit. It’s so easy to wear, super comfortable, and of course, I think I look pretty good! Head in store or jump online now to check out these items or similar and treat yourself!
