Arc'Teryx Veilance Spring Summer 2019

Technical outerwear specialists Arc'Teryx Veilance deliver their latest series of outerwear and pants for the season.

Veilance kick off the season with their flagship silhouette, the Monitor. This season they've wrapped it up in Gore-Tex Pro, giving us a lightweight, and most reliable waterproof finish available.

In keeping with Veilance's precisely crafted silhouettes, the Arris Jacket pairs minimal and precise designs with the upmost premium in water and windproof fabrics from Gore-Tex with their 3L C-Knit.

The Isogon jacket continues their minimal methods of design, crafted from a brushed cotton and nylon poplin blend. Each Isogon jacket is designed with a spiral sleeve for comfort, fit, and natural articulation during wear.

Arc'Teryx bring a level of comfort and coziness this season with the Dyadic Comp hoody and pants. Both crafted from a series of merino wool, cotton, and nylon, each piece is water resistant, and wind proof. An ultimate level of comfort with the full level of technicallity that we've come to know and love from the ranges.

Another new piece for the season comes in the form of the Apparat pant. These slim fitting, articulated pants are constructed from a water-repellent cotton/nylon poplin. The addition of taped seams throughout and adjustable cuffs with snap closures and you’ve got more details than just about any pants on the market.

Arc'Teryx Veilance is available exclusively at Up There in Australia both in store and online. Don't forget to head on over after the jump for a closer look at all of the finer details of this season's selections...

Kapital Spring/Summer 2019

Hailing from the jean capital of Japan, Kojima, Kapitals' mastery of denim and menswear has ensured its stance as a formidable player within the menswear scene since its inception in 1984. The label reimagines mid-century Americana, utilising heritage production techniques to create designs which invoke an authentic workwear feel.

It is the brands unique approach to reimagining a time which has since passed us by, which so uniquely allows it to bring an eclectic aesthetic, and modern feel, to their meticulously crafted range of menswear.

With durability, and a want to be worn, at the surface of everything the brand produces, it is inevitable that pieces from the brands latest offerings will capture the attention of all — a mission they have successfully accomplished.

This season's knitwear is their most detailed to date, their three dimensional sweater is meticulously knit together with motifs of the Ainu people and their surrounding habitats. Continuing the coziness, Kapital give us their Fleecy Knit Zip Hooded Parka. Constructed using a 100% cotton sweat fabric and has been aged to resemble a vintage product With finite sashiko drawstrings and subtle washed indigo overdye.

Kapital Spring/Summer 2019

Kapital reimagine the classic tracksuit this season blending Japan's beloved souvenier 'Sukajan' style motifs amidst the embroidered tape that runs along the arms of the track jacket and legs of the track pants.

Moving on to this season's outerwear, we see three of Kapital's signature pieces return with the Katsuragi Cotton Ring Coat in Khaki, and Ringoman Coverall Jacket in Washed Denim. The trifecta includes a strikingly detailed sashiko print, and boro transfered Kamakura Jacket which of course can be worn almost a million different ways as seen here...

Rounding out this season's selections we've got the newest addition to the range with the relaxed cropped cozy goodness of the Shimokita Pant in Black and Khaki.

Kapital can be both found online and in store at Level 1/15 McKillop Street. For all of the finer details of their latest arrivals, continue reading after the jump.

Since launching their inaugural collection back in 2004 Danish purveyors of cool, Norse Projects, have gone from strength to strength. With regular collaborations featuring artists such as James Jarvis & Todd James as well as world renowned brands including Vans, New Balance, United Arrows, Suicoke & more, they have always managed to stay true to the Scandinavian design aesthetic that underpins the entire brand. Incorporating clean lines and beautiful materials with minimal fuss and classy detailing. Their inspirations come from not just their Nordic homeland, but also classic workwear and military silhouettes. The quality speaks for itself, with all clothing produced in Europe from premium materials. As well as their now massive clothing collection, Norse's accessories are celebrated as some of the best in the industry.

Continuing Their reign as one of menswear’s most trusted curators of timeless staples. The new collection recalls some of their classic silhouettes such as the Thor mac coat, which is now updated with highly-detailed finishes and details. Other products in the range include a mix of light sweaters and trousers, as well as a re-stock of the classically versatile Niels basic T-shirts and Anton Oxford shirts in crispy cotton, all of which follow a reasonably classic and very ’Norse' colour story, with a few fun pops of colour thrown in for good measure. Multiple shades of greens run throughout the collection, alongside fusion pink and charcoal, complemented by tones of misted yellow, pale blue and marginal blue. All are given the luxurious touches the brand is known for, so expect premium fabrics, clean lines and easy to wear, well made basics. The collection features some quality layering pieces, ideal for Melbourne’s often temperamental climate, from the heavier weighted Godfred Long sleeved Tees, to thinner Vorm Mercerised Sweats all of which can be finished off with the aforementioned, classically tailored, Thor mac coat in a timeless shade of Navy.

Norse Project’s spring summer 2017 delivery is now available both in-store at our 1/15 Mckillop Street location, as well as online.
