French workwear enthusiasts Bleu De Paname have delivered their latest range of heritage inspired garments for the season. Their latest offerings to grace our shelves have us covered with a series of their signature outerwear pieces, shirting, jerseys, knits and pants. One of the key pieces from this season’s ranges takes strong inspirations from Japanese garments with their Indigo Kimono. The wooden 3/4 knit takes all of the characteristics from the traditional garment and combine them with a knit cardigan to produce one of our favourite pieces to date.

Their outerwear selections for the season take on the well-known coaches jacket silhouette with the Veste De Coach in Marine. Much like the traditional coaches jacket, but cut from premium cotton twills and finished with press stud front closure and welted pouch pockets. Sitting alongside is the Veste Magasinier, coming to us in Marine, this workwear take on the traditional bomber jacket is crafted from heavy-duty cotton twill with utilitarian pockets donning the front before finishing off with ribbed collar and antiqued zip front closure.

Subtle stripes and checks take over Bleu De Panama’s Chemise’s for the season. The classic Chemise 2 Poches comes wrapped in an indigo check with stripes of red laced throughout. Expertly crafted from soft cotton fabrics the two chest pocket shirt sits neatly aside the striped renditions of the Chemise Bureau. Coming to us in Blanc and Ciel, each of the shirts are minimalist variations of the classic button down stripped of all pockets and finished with Bleu De Panama’s signature woven emblem. The long sleeves continue through the collection with lightweight knitted sweaters in the form of the Tricot Nod D’Abeille in Ecru and Marine. Wrapping the traditional crewneck sweat in velvet gives us the Sweat Peau De Peche in Indigo both soft and warm, and ready to be layered under or over. The Mariniere comes to us in Indigo and as the name suggests the long sleeve garment takes notes from the traditional maritime striped uniform staple taken to the next level with exquisite fabrics and finite finishes.

Finishing off the range with a selection of printed jerseys and pants, Bleu De Paname offer us their name in a classic typeset atop their Sweat Chine in Ecru. The Tee Pied De Biche comes to us in Ecru with a rendition of the usual sickle motif taking form of a expertly drawn crowbar. Rounding it all off with some coverage for your legs with the Corduroy Pant Confort in Marine, and Pant Civile in Ecru.

The entirety of this season’s range is now available both in store and online with a closer look at select pieces from the range after the jump.
