adidas Originals X Dragon Ball Z 'Vegeta' Ultra Tech + 'Majin Buu' Kamanda

adidas Originals and Dragon Ball Z continue their collaborative efforts. This time around the collaboration brings us to the next and most prollific battle against Vegeta and Majin Buu. Vegeta gets transformed into the Ultra Tech with his signature Saiyan armor translated into the blue, white, and yellow accented colourway we see before us. Throwing into the mix his most memorable line ever amidst the heel 'Over 9000'. Majin Buu on the other hand is transformed from his puffy marshmallow warrior into the Kamanda. Translating his pastel pink colourway through the suede upper and Majin logo amidst the heel.

The collection will release this coming Saturday the 24th of November. Releasing from 11am at our Lower Grounds Basement 15 McKillop Street store. Remaining pairs will be available online later the same day.

'Vegeta' Ultra Tech will be available in sizes US7 through to US13 (including some half sizes) for $250AUD.

'Majin Buu' Kamanda will be available in sizes US7 through to US13 (including some half sizes) for $210AUD.

adidas Originals 'Never Made' Pack

Introducing the adidas Originals 'Never Made' pack. The collection brings a mixture of 7 heritage uppers and splices them together with 7 present sole units in a seamless collection of never made hybrids.


One of the earliest running silhouettes released by adidas, the Marathon model͛s mesh upper with suede overlays is pure 70s runner design. This shoe combines the Marathon model͛s retro upper with the Boost sole of the retro-inspired I-5923 silhouette, placing a subtle twist on archive aesthetic.


A First released in the 1970s as an aggressive all-terrain runner, the Country model͛s nylon/suede upper has been combined with the distinctive textured gum sole of the Kamanda to create a striking take on retro shoe design.


A multi-purpose runner originally designed for the Boston marathon, the Boston Runner is a classic example of 80s adidas footwear design. This new edition switches out the shoes original rubber sole for the iconic NMD Boost sole.


With its striking silver leather upper, contrast red 3-stripe marks and low profile design, the Rising Star silhouette is classic 80s running model design. For this release, the shoes original rubber sole with colored EVA inserts is replaced with the iconic NMD Boost sole.

Wrapped in silver leather and fitted with a digital stopwatch in its tongue, the Micropacer silhouette was lightyears ahead of its time when it first released in 1984. Its core philosophy and design has informed countless adidas designs since, and this new edition places the shoe͛s original upper onto an NMD Boost sole.


First introduced in the 90s to respond to the specific needs of basketball players, adidas Feet You Wear (FYW) concept created a segmented sole to offer greater flexibility in the foot. This hybrid model combines the archive design of FYW with the Boost™-infused sole of the evolutionary Boost You Wear (BYW) model, uniting 3-stripes past with its present-day evolution.

ZX930 x EQT

In the 80s, adidas unveiled the ZX series, a groundbreaking footwear franchise that would inform the design ethos of the now-legendary 90s EQT series. This release combines the upper of one of the lesser- Information known ZX models, the ZX 930, with the classic-meets-contemporary Boost™ EQT midsole, complete with the overflow 3-stripe marks that define every EQT model.

The collection will see all 7 pairs release this coming Wednesday the 17th of October. In store at our Lower Grounds store location from 11am, with any remaining pairs releasing online later the same day.

adidas Originals Kamanda Clear Brown + Energy Ink

adidas Originals have got two colourways of their Kamanda fresh on the shelves. Coming to us in Energy Ink, and Clear Brown, the Kamanda mixes retro and modern looks to create a new age soccer inspired silhouette. Taking design features from classics like the Samba with it’s tread pattern, each pair features a supple nubuck upper and knit tongue that sit atop a burnt caramel gum sole.
