Converse X Neighborhood Jack Purcell CT70 Moto

Converse and Neighborhood combine their creative minds once again, this time calling on inspiration from the Japanese brands interest in the world of motorcycles.

The Jack Purcell features a predominantly black upper with a white and black rubber toe box. Detailing on the midsole reads "NBHDCNSJP", and the rear of the shoe features a Kanji character which means "resistance'.

The Chuck Taylor 70 Moto takes practicality into mind with the oversized rubber strap across the forefoot, allowing you to swith gears without damaging your sneakers. The black upper is a combination of sturdy canvas and leather.

Pairs will release through our online store at midnight 12am this coming Saturday the 24th of August.

Sizes US6 through to US12 (whole sizes only) will be available in both silhouettes for $150AUD.

Until Friday, we'll leave you with all of the finer details after the jump...

After an exciting exploration of the polar landscape, lifestyle brand CLOT has teamed up with Converse on two classic styles, reinvented with cozy, cool arctic elements.

Established in 2003 by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, CLOT uniquely bridges the gap between street culture in the east and west. This latest Converse x CLOT collection is the continuation of a story that begin in 2017 with two colorways of the Fastbreak Hiker. On a bold expedition to the North Pole, CLOT found inspiration for new Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell designs, with sherpa materials like faux fur and chic neutral colors influenced by the look of polar bears. It’s a collection designed to brave the cold in style.

Both silhouettes will release in store and online this coming Saturday the 2nd of February.

Chuck 70 will be available in sizes US6 through to US12 (whole sizes only) for $160AUD.

Jack Purcell will be available in sizes US6 through to US12 (whole sizes only) for $150AUD.

We’ll see you all on the 2nd of February for the release…

Pairing together again, Converse and London-based jewellery label Bunney deliver their spin on the coveted Jack Purcell silhouette. Coming to us in both a low and high cut variation of the Jack Purcell, Bunney elevate the classic sneaker with their finite attention to detail . Wrapping both pairs in Grey and Navy fabrics specially woven at the hands of renowned Linton Mills to give a richly textured premium finish to each pair. Each pair comes lined with a leather, laced up with matching woven laces, and finished with Bunney’s logo imprinted on the midsole of the ‘Lucky Left Foot’. Of course these aren't just any plain old Jack Purcells that Bunney have built upon, with each pair of signatures paired together with Nike’s Zoom Air technology and Ortholite footbed hidden inside.

Both colourways will be available tomorrow morning from 11am at our level 1/15 McKillop Street store. They’re also available in our online store right now. For all of the finer details of the release, continue reading after the jump.

Converse have been hard at work, retooling their Jack Purcell to give us the S-Series & M-Series Jack Purcell. The S-Series silhouette comes to us in the form of a reworked Jack Purcell Hi-Top. The sneaker styled boot is wrapped in rich waxy leathers with both the Antique Sepia, and Black colourways harbouring a neoprene sock liner before been attached to a beefed up lunarlon rendition of the classic Jack Purcell sole unit. The M-Series come to us in the same Antique Sepia, and Black colourways, with both pairs featuring a thick leather perfect for daily thrashing to create character and patina through its daily wear. The low-top also sits atop a renewed lunarlon sole unit for reduced weight and extra comfort. Both pairs come to us from Converse’s newest ‘Counter Climate’ initiative, which means both the high and low silhouettes are ready for wet weather wear.

The S-Series & M-Series Jack Purcells are now available both in store and online alongside the rest of this season’s selections from Converse. For a closer look at all of the finer details, continue reading after the jump.
