Up There Movember 2017

11/1/2017 9:29 AM

It’s now a tradition that each November the team and friends here at the store shave off all of our facial hair in the name of men’s health together alongside the Movember Foundation. With the calendar turning over to the 1st of November, it can mean only one thing, off come the beards and moustaches ready to start a fresh.

To kick off the month, Jordan at Area Studio cleared off our facial hair to start the month a fresh. We’d like to thank their team for a clean shave and having them donate the time and the cost to kick off the fund raising month.

We’ll be having some fun this Movember with assorted raffles, auctions, and some other bits and pieces to help raise for a good cause. So to kick it all off, we hope you can head on over to our Movember page and dig deep as every dollar helps.

To donate to Up There's Movember fund raising efforts head on over here!

After giving us their collaborative offerings for the season with Dr. Marten’s, Engineered Garments have delivered their signature blend of workwear and utilitarian pieces. Be it their outerwear, carry goods, headwear, pants, and the in-between, each garment has been torn down and rebuilt with respect to the traditional piece and crafted with pride in their home-town of New York.

This season, Engineered Garments have delivered a series of their classic outerwear pieces with their signature Bedford Jacket taking on a Dark Navy 7oz Cotton Twill, Olive 7oz Cotton Twill, and Black 7.5oz Slub Denim finishes. The wardrobe staple features 4 front patch pockets, 4 removable buttons and a notched lapel made to be worn both down and fully buttoned up. The Knit Blazer takes on a slightly warmer finish with a soft Dark Navy French Terry, and slightly tweaked styling to its Bedford counterpart. The perfect pairing of Upland Vest, and respective Coverall Jacket in Dark Navy 7oz Cotton Twill feature a series of utilitarian pocketry together with accenting reinforced stitching. A lightweight option of the classic Parka sits neatly alongside their range of outerwear in a Khaki Poplin. The hooded snap close jacket features two front pouch pockets, tonal hardware, and is ready to be layered for all seasons.

Ready to sit underneath your outerwear, Engineered garments have a range of their signature 19th Century Button Downs, and Work Shirts. Coming to us in Pink/Olive Cotton Plaid, Navy, and White Cotton Oxford, each BD shirt features a button down collar, single V stitched chest pocket, single button cuffs and high curved hem. Keeping with the workwear elements, their Work Shirts come complete with utilitarian styled pockets, and accenting stitching before been wrapped in Grey Cotton Chambray, and Light Weight Indigo Denim.

Matching with their outerwear counterparts, Engineered Garments have a selection of pants to keep your legs covered and synchronise your upper and lower garments. Their Painter Pants come to us in Dark Navy 7oz Cotton Twill, and Black 7.5oz Slub Denim. As with their Coverall and Upland Vest partners, each pant takes on a series of utilitarian pocketry paired off with accenting heavy-duty reinforced stitching. The Ground Pant takes on the classic chino mixed with a distinct military feel. The Olive 7oz Cotton Twill wraps around a series of cleanly finished pockets with waist adjustments. Finishing off the pant selections with a slightly more cozy option, Engineered Garments give us the Track Pant in Dark Navy French Terry. As its namesake suggests, the french terry pant features two front pockets, and accenting striped legs ready to be paired off with its equally as cozy Knit Blazer.

Finishing off this seasons selections, Engineered Garments are keeping your heads covered and your every day carry sorted. Their range of deep Bucket Hats come to us in Khaki Poplin, Dark Navy 7oz Cotton Twill, and Black 7.5oz Slub Denim. With all of your carry neatly packed into their range of Shoulder Pouches, and Cordura Backpacks.
