Nike unveil their latest Jordan 8 tentatively titled ‘Urban Jungle’. The latest release pays homage to the classic colourways of the Air Raid 2. Both designed by Tinker Hatfield and featuring crisscrossing straps, the silhouettes already had a lot in common — but now they’re taking it to the next level. A combo of black nubuck and mesh makes up the majority of the shoe, while a bold abstract pattern of purple, yellow, green, and red from the Air Raid 2 that’s unmistakably ’90s appears on the midfoot’s plastic piece. A tri-colored tongue adds a further pop of flair, and a green sockliner then completes the look.
Pairs will release in store this coming Saturday the 22nd of December. Any remaining pairs will release online later the same day.
The Air Jordan 8 - Black/Light Concord-Aloe Verde will be available in sizes US8 through to US13 (including some half sizes) for $270AUD.
Until Saturday, we’ll leave you with all of the finer details after the jump…
