The wool is "fulled" – increasing the thickness and compactness by subjecting it to moisture, heat, friction, and pressure until shrinkage of 10–25% is achieved. All that just means this is a good scarf. Edges are left with a natural rolled finish meaning there's no annoying seams once you get it sitting just right.
