Air Max 1 PRM QS 2 - Medium Brown/Mint Foam/Mushroom
Initially releasing back in 2004, this Air Max 1 serves as a milestone for many of us here – mostly because it make us feel old. Originally part of a Nike Air Max triple-header including the Air Bust and Air Max 90, all three shared a hemp mesh base with neutral tones accented by Mint Foam green.
The stand-out was undoubtedly the AM1, with its regular outsole replaced by a slab of grippy latex "Crepe". This move made so much of an impact, the set is referred to as the "Crepe Pack" even though the two others don't feature it. As with any Air Max model, the longevity of that midsole isn't conducive to more than a decade of wear. It means this re-issue couldn't have come at a better time. Most of the original pairs are long-gone or unwearable, but now we can grab a pair to rock through the summer.
