In commemoration of their grey legacy, New Balance celebrates “Grey Day” — a moment in time to reflect and appreciate how far things have come. In over 100 years New Balance has done many things but none longer-lasting than their decision to make grey their colour.

Born in 1989 and reborn in the 2020s, it's unlikely that anyone might have predicted the new life that the New Balance 550 has taken on. Arguably more popular now than 30+ years ago, the past couple of seasons have seen the 550 catapulted into the lifestyle sphere thanks to the work of collaborators and influencers alike.

The "Moon Daze" collection draws inspiration from the future and prompts us to think further beyond our world, begging the question: What would shoes look like after walking on an extra terrestrial surface. Shoes are finished with distressed touches and dusty outsoles, looking like they just stepped out of the landing pod from an inter-stellar journey.
