Terminator Low OG - University Gold/Navy-White
This colourway being on this Terminator is two-fold. The first is quite obvious – in 2008 Nike released a Terminator High in the same colours so this is somewhat of a reboot. The second connection is a bit deeper insofar as that it touches on the Terminator's roots.
When it launched in 1985 the Terminator was a model made exclusively for the 1984 championship winning Georgetown Hoyas college team. it was only ever available in the school's colours of grey and navy, with the other colleges stuck with some shoe called the Dunk – whatever happened to those?
One such team was the University of Michigan, whose Dunk remains one of the most sought-after original colourways. In a round-about way, Nike pays homage to all of this intertwined history with these Terminator Lows – a silhouette not seen since 2014 – which brings together all of these stories.
