No this isn't the next $2500 Balenciaga faux-runner, this is something Saucony cooked up in the early 2000s. The ProGrid Triumph 4 perfectly encapsulates the early '00s aesthetic every high fashion designer seems hell-bent on reappropriating to sell back at 10x the price. Thankfully most of the big players from that era still exist, and they know a think or two about making shoes...
Looking like something from the future and packing more shoutouts than a NASCAR team, the ProGrid Triumph 4 is both wild looking and technology packed. The shoes feature three main technologies. There's a HRC+ strobel board under foot, with
SRC 'Super Rebound Compound' heel crash pad for impact absorption. The namesake ProGrid cushioning features through the midsole for a comfortable ride once the SRC heel takes the brunt.
Don't drop a stack on shoes essentially cosplaying early 2000s runners when you can buy the real deal, straight from the source. Plus when all your fashion mates ask you what you're wearing, you can play the "what, these old things?" game to really annoy them.
